Instant Locksmiths are specialist automotive locksmiths in Melbourne who offer a wide range of onsite automotive locksmith services to all cars, trucks and motorcycles including European and prestige vehicles. Our aim is to provide our customers with a cost effect service at a fraction of the price that they would normally pay at a dealership or other locksmith.
LOST YOUR CAR, MOTORCYCLE OR TRUCK KEYS?
We provide an on site key replacement service for just about all vehicles using either genuine or non-genuine keys aswell as remote central locking remotes.
Before programming replacement transponder keys to vehicles, we are also able to remove any existing key data stored on the vehicles computer leaving the lost or stolen keys inoperable and unable to start the vehicle.
Our mobile workshops have onboard state of the art electronic key cutting machinery aswell as diagnostic key programming equipment which allow us to cut and program all keys and central locking remotes onsite.
It is important to note that most vehicles manufactured after 1996 use a transponder chip in the head of the key and the replacement cost is slightly higher. These transponder chips do require the use of specialised ECU diagnostic programming techniques to produce a key which will start the vehicle.

HAVE ONE WORKING TRANSPONDER KEY AND REQUIRE A SPARE? In most cases we are able to provide a second replacement key to all vehicles without the use of diagnostic equipment. This is done by reading the information stored on the original key and copying it to a replacement. LOCKED YOUR KEYS INSIDE YOUR VEHICLE? No problems! We are able to gain entry to all vehicles with no damage by utilising advanced bypass and lock picking techniques.
IGNITION/DOOR LOCK JAMMED AND WON'T TURN? We keep replacement ignition and door locks for most makes and models which commonly experience this problem and carry out all car ignition and door lock repairs onsite while you wait.
BROKEN KEY STUCK IN YOUR LOCK? Keys that have been broken off inside ignition and door locks can usually be extracted without causing any further damage to the lock. A replacement key can be provided to you onsite should you require it.
